Elsewhere in this thread you make the assumption you know what i'm thinking .i.e. worried, feel the need for response. It's not a reflection on you ,although you are guilty of it, but when people have a scary incident, or near death experience, and they say "your" life flashes before you,"you" freeze when this happens .How the flip do they know how a different person will react? I don't know any long words to explain this reaction.I'm sure you will explain.

You seemed to have a solid perception of an alchoholic when you pounced originally "you either are or you aint" have you relaxed this view slightly?
