Personally, I hate the thought of animals being put through effective torture in some cases. But at the same time, if a family member's life depending on a cure created using animal testing, would I shun it? Of course I wouldn't, and I can't imagine many other people would. Having said that, I'd like to know that animal testing was only used when all other possibilities had expired.
Finally, I have nothing but contempt for animal rights protestors. |
