One of the most popular entertainments is slapstick clowns....not highbrow....extremely childish in fact (and not my cup of tea) but it has people rolling in the aisles.
Big Brother is simply entertainment which can be viewed on several levels...People forced to live in close proximity and under strange circumstances....the interaction of different people under duress.
Not highbrow....but it can be highly entertaining.
