Default Gay Adoption

Gay adoption is back on the agenda.

While not having a homophobic bone in my body, and working with an unusually high proportion of gay people, I can actually say 'I have a lot of gay friends'.

However, I have reservations about gay adoption. Not because I think that it will "turn the child gay" as some simpletons claim. But I do think it would be a very confusing upbringing for the child, and I think they would find it very hard adjusting and being accepted at school by their peers. I also think it might distort their view of relationships in ways we can't predict.

What do you think?
