Children are bullied for a large number of reasons so having homosexual parents is not the only potential cause for a child's bullying problem at school. Nevertheless, it appears as if homosexuality is a major focus for derogatory terms for children to use at school (such as "that's so gay") and it provides far more ammunition for bullying than other bullying factors like race, weight, appearance, etc...
Even so, perhaps society's attitudes need to change.
