Seeing as nobody else has bothered to reply to what is a very interesting article, especially seeing as it's American, I thought I would.

When taken as a whole, and feel free to pick at me here, I think the attack was the best thing that could have happened to America.

It now has a freedom to suppress or exploit any Muslim nation it chooses on the strength of the attack.
They have taken control, if you disregard the puppet leaders installed in Iraq, of one of the largest untapped oilfields in the world, and they have only lost the same number of people that are killed in road traffic accidents in a two month period as have been killed throughout the entire conflict.

Does that mean you're safer in Iraq than you are driving a car in America?

I'd call that good business.
