A young person is under parental control and under the age of consent until they reach the age of 16 ?
So anything that concerns their welfare should be made available to their parents, including contraception and abortion.
The same child taking a school trip must have their guardian sign over their medical care.
Medical confidentiality muddies the waters....there should be no such confidentiality for under age children
