I have been posting on forums for 3 years and have never been suspended, banned, called a troll, rendered annoying etc. I have been a moderator on a forum for over two years and have never had a problem with anybody. In fact I have made lots of contacts that I still keep in touch with today on a regular basis so I have no idea why your little clique group had a problem with me. Perhaps my experience of serious debate at the last forum annoys your little group, but to be honest, if you posted the way you do at the forums I have posted on you would more than likely be ignored as the majority of your posts are sweeping statements, with nothing to back it up and ignore questions posed at you in a thread, preferring to render the said person annoying.
I would wholeheartedly agree with a new member viewing this particular thread and considering me a trouble maker, but then again, a new member would not have seen the previous postings on another thread to provoke this thread. I pretty much think that other posters can think for themselves thank you Sweetpop.
All threads are started to promote discussion, we all put our opinion in and we all should back up our assumptions or things we state as facts. That is what a debating forum is all about. To pick out points in a persons argument and quote them and disagree or ask someone to expand on their reasoning is not only acceptable, it is expected. The fact that we all put our opinion in and back it up means that we are all opinionated.
If my posting style renders me egotistical, over opinionated, gobby, loud and the rest, then I suggest that it is your little clique that has a problem.
I do happen to know that not everybody agrees with your little gang as I have received those post it points on this and the other forum. Sorry to disappoint you.
As much as I have respected my fellow posters, I have never interfered in a discussion between two people. They were bright enough to debate it out themselves. Also I have never PM'd a poor opinion of somebody before.
