It was quite interesting. I think we were filling the sheep with helium rather than hydrogen though, because their baas were distinctly squeaky as they ascended.
We actually ran out of gas before we'd done them all, and the farmer wanted to use the hot air balloon method to float the rest. Luckily I managed to persuade him that a naked flame and a woollen fleece would probably prove to be an awkward combination.
