Having a death in the family does affect people you know, having said that, I think personally, 3 years is enough time to sort your life out and move on. He now has addiction problems which is hidden by youthful acceptance, or laddish behaviour....hence my immature comments on him, which I regularly tell him and he regularly admits. If anybody thinks this is too much information to be posting on a forum, I agree, but I will not be called a liar! Before this tragedy, he rarely drank, certainly never took any drugs and worked his arse off for his family. People change NT, you will learn that.
