So Syby, When did you discover that you were bi, and how did you feel about it?

Same for Ringwraith: When did you discover you were bi, and how did you feel about it?

i wonder is that a little avant-garde for a proper british forum?

edit: (Casper -- i'll get back to you. meanwhile, have you checked your pms lately?)
A close friend described herself as bi-curious after her divorce. Then she formed her first female/female relationship and immediately started to describe herself as a lesbian. She hasn't had any male partners since. Mind you, she always maintained that she found more stimulation in bowing particular notes on her double bass than she ever did with her husband.

As a result of this, if my wife ever starts saying she's bi-curious, I think I'll buy her a chastity belt. And if she ever shows interest in the double bass I'll burn it.

Casper, you have a gift for asking questions. or...are you training to be a psychiatrist or to interview stars on the red carpet?

ok. for you.
i was seduced -- some would say 'raped' -- by a 19 year old girl-woman, two days before i turned 14. we'd just met -- on a bizarre holiday adventure (that's a long story). but i know i felt an aching in my flesh for it to happen -- like i'd flashed a green light saying 'candidate'.

how did i feel? ecstatic. it was the scariest and most beautiful thing ever. i was a ... 'troubled' kid, so it released a lot in me. i had something like an epileptic fit. liberated in so many ways.

now it's also very handy when i need a break from the obsessive-possessive guys i seem to attract. maybe i'm just lucky, whatever that means. i think this boy-girl business is a hypnotic clamp. surely, by nature -- before 'education' -- we are all omnisexual.

ringo?

ah nice timing Relic.
yes there's that hypnotic clamp i just mentioned. i've met women with grown children whose husbands will not let them join a nightclass, who watch the clock when they do the shopping. how cam people live with that? to me, that's plain dependency and fear -- not love.

(tho thanks for your honesty Relic.)

Heh, it wasn't honesty, Syb, it was my oblique sense of humour. After twenty-three years of marriage and two kids, one of whom becomes one year old in two days time, I'm confident that our marriage isn't under any sort of outside threat. There are no chains on her and never will be, aside from plain, old fashioned love. Given that she has a doctorate, is a university lecturer in social psychology and a feminist since her teens, and that her penetrating intelligence and independence were factors that attracted me to her in the first place (the fact that my first glimpse of her caused my tongue to loll out on the floor apart), 'twould be going against nature to take any other perspective.

By the way, our friend just told me that if there was one favour her former husband ever did her it was to show her porn videos with lesbian sequences. Her "bi-curiousness" cystallised around the videos, as the actuality of sex with him was short and hamfisted. When she did find a female partner she found a gentleness, consideration and knowledge that she'd never experienced before, and these days whilst she can still find men physically attractive she can't see the point of going backward. There's a lesson for men in there.

No offence, but it's really a personal thing

Well I would certainly not call it 'raped'. I call it a sexual experiment that you explored and found successful. Anyone who would call it ‘raped’ is naïve.

You think the essence of a straight relationship is hypnotic clamp because we must be omni sexual at birth?

I don’t think we are omni sexual at birth or before education (or as you call it ‘hypnotic clamp’). I think we are naturally programmed to feel attracted to the opposite sex, hence that is nature and how the population can re-produce. But when one feels attracted to the same sex, I believe that is an error of the chemistry in the body system. I think it is abnormal for a body to respond with arousal over the concept of attracting the same sex.

For example, cancer is an error of biochemistry in the body. It is abnormal. Homosexuality is also an error therefore it is abnormal.

But I don’t look down at homosexuals. I don’t think they ‘chose’ to be gay like religious societies believe. I think it’s a problem that just can’t be cured.

Abnormal, ey? Now, why the hell would any one want to be normal?

ahh Casp, and i thought you were a wide-eyed open-minded questioner, when you really have all your answers set in stone. disappointing.

have you ever had a man's hand at your cockk? i bet it would respond.

i would wonder about anybody who defines themselves as 'normal' -- especially in a way that claims to not look down on the abnormal. but not for long.

.

Of course I've had a man's hand down my cock and it responded! My own hand! And it feels damn good too, especially when I imagine my girlfriend!

However, as they say, you could probably get an erection from shagging a hole in a tree, does that make one naturosexual?

You could probably get an erection from shagging a teddy bear, does that make you woolosexual?

You could probably get an erection from shagging a car exhaust pipe, does that make you motorosexual?

You could probably get aroused from a sex toy, does that make you plasticosexual?

Just because you may be aroused by a certain experience, it does not make sexually attracted to the group category of the source of arousal.
