Give up the coffee and you'll feel it....eventually. The withdrawal symptoms are long and hellish. I can still smell the roast from here.

Never, no wop can live without espresso.
My last vice. I dont eat meat, or dairy, or smoke, I drink the very occasional beer or campari.
But my coffee I love it,
I love the way it smells, the way it looks, the tradition of grinding the beans and making the coffee, pouring it into a tiny white china cup and raising it to my lips like a kiss, then the warmth in the mouth the aroma going up from the back of the pallet, then slowly the taste grows and I swallow the hot brown liquid, and it warms me through.
Give that up NEVER!

Thanks for the welcome back poppy...i won't dwell on the demise of the forum.

Not done anything exciting to speak of, just trying to get back into work really, and succeeded.

Off to watch a friend of mine play in a cup final at Altrincham FC then go for a few jars.

Well done on the work front, that's brill. I just watched the Calzaghe fight, and a bit of rugby league. Wakefield were brilliant. Had to record the fight was up the gallery today.
Exhibition change over. Don't usually go in for those, they can get a bit mad with fraught artists all wanting their work taking down at the same time. We can be a highly strung lot.
But someone was sick so had to do it.
I managed to get through without dropping any sculptures or pots, and I think they all got the right paintings back.
Actually by the end I didn't really care if they did or not.
