I want to mave it up stairs. Will i have to move all the wiring or can i get a wireless sender of some sort. I'm on ntl braodband.

Can i not get any sort of wireless sender, or is this a bad idea for security reasons?

Well. you can output your cable modem through a wireless router, which will need setting up to clone your network and obtain its IP address through a computer, so you need two PCs for that.
