A Fire arm is a weapon that expels a projectile using an explosion as the insitigator. Or something similar.

Therefore it is NOT possible to class catapults as firearms, BUT an air rifle is questionable as it DOES use an "explosion" to "fire" the projectile.

Do NOT underestimate air rifles.

In the U.S civil war they were used quite successfully as a snipers rifle.

However the pathetic fart against a thunderstorm things you get in your local five and dime are NOTHING in comparrison.

Yopu havbe to be REALLY lucky to KILL anything.
