The Bourne Identity was on tv a few nights back. I gave it an hour and a bit and stopped for lack of caring about Bourne or the girl or the hackneyed "I don't know who I am" plot, a lame excuse for a lot of car chases that don't move me. In a way I thought Damon was well cast for someone who has forgotten who he is. To me he looks empty and dull. That's just my opinion.
For a great "I don't know who I am" film, see Amateur by Hal Hartley. |

| You are the only person I have heard say you did not like a Bourne film. IMO they are all fanbloodytastic. |

| I'll tell you one film that I found was a pleasant surprise, and was almost completely over-looked, was 'Stardust'. I'm a massive Neil Gaiman fan, and I think the film was a pretty good interpretation of the story, and certainly did it justice. If nothing else, it's worth watching to see Robert De Nero as a Gay Pirate. Having said that, there's much more to this film, and I highly recommend it to people of all ages.

| Funnily enough I ordered it yesterday. What is your opinion on The Bourne's Will? |

| I missed the first film, and consequently haven't watched any of the others. I like Matt Damon, but I find he can get out of his depth now and again. Thought he was briliant in 'Good Will Hunting', and utterly average in 'The Departed', in fairness I thought it was a terrible film anyway, and seem to be the only one.

| Yeah, agree about the Departed. Matt however, is perfectly case in the Bourne films. |

Loved it, divine escapism! |
