One of my favourite (if not my favorite) Reggae artists, I wanted to share some of her best stuff. I got introduced to her music when I was stopping with some Muslim Rastas in Zanzibar. An artist worthy of far great recognition.

Great music Will thanks, I hadn't heard her before.
Just one thing I need putting straight on is, 'Muslim Rasta', the Rastas I know in Ladbroke Grove are just that Rastas, isnt saying Muslim Rasta a bit like saying a Jewish Roman Catholic, I thought they were completely separate religions, I cant imagine Islam accepting Haile Selasse as a profit, though I may be totally wrong.
Not having a pop just curious, as I know many of each, but no one who is both

You know about as much as I do. All I know is that they are Muslims, they go and pray and they follow a lot of traditions associated with Muslims. But they are also through and through Rastas.

I can see it being easily possible as there are the 12 Tribes Rastas who are in fact Christians. In fact I believe Dezarie is a 12 Tribes Rasta. I think Rastafarianism is almost a philosophy as much as it is a religion. Though a lot of Rastas will tell you that 12 Tribes aren't true Rastas.

Equally, I imagine the guys I was with aren't considered true Muslims. It's a mess, and I'm not cleaning it up.
