THIS FLAG DOES NOT BELONG TO THE BNP AND THE RACIST BIGOTS OF THIS COUNTRY, WHO ARE THE ONE'S WHO ARE REALLY GOING TO RUIN IT SHOULD THEY GET THIER WAY!

So this is a message to all those PC thugs out there. Being proud of St GEORGE'S CROSS DOESN'T MAKE YOU A RACIST! Being proud of being English DOESN'T MAKE YOU A RACIST. I'm sick of hearing stories of people being told to take their flags down in "racially sensitive areas", don't you realise that most permanent immigrant families embrace our flag as much as everyone else?

This makes you the true racists, acting as if said immigrant families can't think for themselves, and make their own judgements. Who the hell gave you the right to decide if someone else will be offended or not? Idiots like you won't be happy until everyone is England is utterly ashamed of their own country!

All you do is give the bigots an excuse to blame these innocent parties for the misguided decisions YOU have enforced on people. By trying to ban the use of our flag you are playing right into the bigots hands.

This needs to stop, be proud of St. Georges Cross, and fight racism!

Hi Will....you really want to stop worrying about 'hearing stories' about people being told to take down English flags.....ITS A LOAD OF SHIT MADE UP THE MEDIA TO WIND UP NARROW MINDED TWATS. As English people we have complete freedom to fly the St Georges cross wherever we like. Why don't you try it and see how many complaints you get.....my guess is it will be none.....

Not only are you still upholding your delusion that you somehow know everything despite admitting you don't have a single credible source. You are also burying your head in the sand.

Why don't you ask Tesco drivers who were banned from flying the flag in the last world cup?

Why don't you ask pupils of Birches Head High School in Stoke-on-Trent?

Why don't you ask Matthew Carter from Burnley, Lancs?

Why don't you ask Mitchell and Butlers brewery?

This list is endless, and these are just a few examples of the lunacy. I Challenge YOU to prove ANY of them to be false. Luckily there are enough people who aren't ignorant, and refuse to tolerate Political Correctness, and many of these cases were rescinded.

Sadly, it is still happening all round the country because of PC thugs, and it is ALL the fault of racist little bigots. Equally to blame are people like yourself who believe they know everything, and yet continue to display and alarming level of ignorance, and allow this kind of thing to happen.

I lean towards NeonRainbow on this one.....bloody silly name mind.

Whether we like it or not, flying the flag, be it the Union flag or the George cross has undesireable connotations, due to the link with the right wing.
Large companies, feeling they may be tarred with the same brush, "advise" their fleet not to display flags.
"Right on" teachers and the like, feel the association with emblems "owned" by the right wing are taboo.

I have spouted about this topic long time, it is us, the man in the street, that has allowed the highjacking of our national emblem.
It has been tarnished by its use in the fashion industry,made into shorts for beer bellied tourists and the like, denigrating its real value as a symbol of national pride.
We need to reclaim it.....and use it for the right reasons.
