I mean, who actually likes cleaning that stuff off your shoes?
I can still remember from many years ago my uncle taking me fishing. He finds what he calls a big juicy worm and starts to what can only be describe as thread it onto the hook. By this I mean he sticks the hook in the worm and pushes the hook through quite a good portion of it before it comes out so that the worm is attached to the full length of the hook.
While this is going on, with me making strange noises like; oooooo, uuurrgggg, and thinking of the nightmares to follow, the worm is writhing about like mad wrapping itself round his fingers.
Just to top off the torture it gets slowly drowned and nibbled by fish. Now that's what I call a bad way to go!

There was a lad where I lived who used to eat worms but that's another story.
And it was the old house skinny, not near you.

not sure if this is a phobia, but how many of us take something off the shelf in say tescos from the back and never from the front.
I ALWAYS take an item from the back....or an orange from the bottom of the pile.....am I alone out there?

you're never alone bugs, but surely this is more a healthy instinct than a phobia. the fruit at the bottom is less infected by human hands, shop-lighting, flies. the packets of cereal at the front have been dropped on the floor so many times. usually by people trying to get at the packets at the back. and of course, the best sell-by dates are at the back. common sense.

I get pissed off with people picking fruit and the like up, inspecting them and putting them down again. How horrible is that ?
