Default Allergies outbreak

Apparently in the past few years Life Threatening Allergies are increasing dramatically.
Is it because of the junk we eat or because of the stuff we dont eat anymore?
For example breast feeding our children is a rarity these days, plus almost everything we eat is wrapped in plastic, or otherwise processed in some way.

What do you say?

Two proposals....
1) That pharmaceutical companies are making up diseases to bolster the coffers...in other words, there are so many made up diseases out there, which are really non existant.
2) That the more "hygenic" we become, the more prone to diseases we will be, as out bodies cannot build up out immune systems.

The Pharmaceutical companies are not "Making Up" the cases of allergic reaction in our children.Asthma, Hayfever,Eczema,Hyper activity are all on the rise....why?
They are not a figment of the medical companies imagination, we all know kids that suffer with these things that a few years ago were rare.
It could be the pollution of our air, or the additives in our food, or even the lack of goodness in our diet, or a combination of several factors.
You cant blame the Pharmaceutical companies for everything, perhaps it is the food producers, or the packagers......but something is amiss

I think we under estimate the greed of big corps......lets not put our heads in the sand and say " they would not do such things"
You are right though in saying that allergies might be down to the food we eat etc.....along with pollution etc.
But I dont think we should blame every allergy on these influences alone.

I dont blame the the big corps.....arnt they fathers too?
I dont blame the food we eat....not entirely.

I blame the collective affects of many and sundry unknowns.....as yet unsuspected.
Such as simple washing up liquid, aerosols, mobile phones, bluetooth, electric pylons, TV remotes etc.,chemical based paints, petrochemicals in general, pesticides, fertilisers, Baby milks.

I dont know what I blame....but there are too many man made interventions into our lives without proper investigation about how they might interact with each other....alone each may prove to be OK....but in a wider use all affected by each other and cumalative....who really knows?
