Just stop it because it is remarkably annoying. Children as young as 8 are being sold into sex-slavery, by their parents in many cases. How do I know? My friend's girlfriend is in Cambodia, and a member of the NGO that is trying to promote awareness to young girls about the evils of what can happen to them if they fall in with the wrong set of people, and picking up the pieces for those that weren't so lucky. Equally the move about villages explaining to their parent's a female child can have a better future than being fucked by a load of perverts for a few dollars for 10 or 20 years. I told you what was going on out there in a protracted sense, because it was an aside, and if you pedantically doubt me and that website's aims then tough shit, I really couldn't give a rat's ass about what you think or how you think it; although it does seem rather OCDish. Move on to my next mistake. Or you could enlighten yourself by reading more than the point you are trying to subvert. Sex slavery and child pornograpy is one of the biggest economies in SE Asia today, and it is big business to find young girls to export to China and the surrounding countries to market until they have no use whatsoever in any society; physically and emotionally. Oh, sorry, this isn't factual evidence for you is it, as this was told to me by my friend's girlfriend. So, just disregard everything I've just said.

And again don't make demands of our members Rook. People supposedly come here to have fun. But there seems to be precious little of that going. Although I might be wrong about that too. You can say I'm having a hissy-fit, but I'm really not. I'm trying my best to get people to start replying to posts in a reasonable and rational manner; and I'm sure Northumbrian will attack that sentence too. Do you know I was considering how much like the Gestapo these demands being made are like. Rigorous demands for questions to be answered, and if they are not satisfied then attacks upon characters, upon backgrounds, upon integrity and honesty, and in one instance threats of violence What a wonderful trio you are all making. In most regards this just reflects badly on the people demanding answers where none are actually necessary.
I will never, EVER apologise for trying to educate myself. You made a claim I was not aware of, and I wanted to learn more about it. Instead of backing up your claim with a link to a specific article/web-page, you floundered. I'm sorry to burst your bubble EatMy, but you are NOT infallible, you are human like everyone else. So I will NOT simply take your word for it when you make such outlandish claims. I will ask for sources, for evidence, I will conduct research to verify your claims. If you consider such basic validation techniques to be too Gestapo-like for you, then you really should stick to non-political, non-controversial topics like knitting or the cuteness of kittens

One can't help wondering what her opinion would be of your views regarding the evil men who practice a similar trade against young girls in this country.

Seeing as I blamed their situation on their background, she would undoubtedly agree with me. But seeing as schools are expected to observe any behaviour in a child that is not conducive or becoming of other children, one would expect you to agree on this point Northumbrian, and it is rather disturbing you do not. And this is becoming rather tiresome now Northumbrian, if you are too ignorant to understand what I'm trying to say then you really should not put forward your opinion, least of all carry it on ad nauseum.

An interesting statement in the policemans handbook states that a man aged 25 and over can tell if a girl is under age but a man under 25 can not always be expected to know if a girl is under age or not. Didn't really want to bump this thread with my first post but it was one that jumped out at me.

I'm curious as to what he said. I'm guessing it had something to do with my thread questioning the ethics of having sex with animals.

I think it was relative to his response in the animals post. He wasn't really putting forward an opinion.
