    Default Jam tomorrer bruvvers!

"David Cameron pledges to 'protect' state pension. The state pension will continue to rise by at least 2.5% a year until 2020 if the Conservatives win the next election, David Cameron has said."

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-25609485

"Ed Miliband vows to end UK's 'dependency' on cheap foreign labour. Labour leader Ed Miliband has vowed to end what he calls Britain's "chronic dependency" on cheap foreign labour if he wins the next election."**

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-25607578

But only if they win the next general election. Er, one of them hasn't the faintest idea what the macro-economic situation will be by then , and the other is too stupid to realise that the EU won't let him do it.

And as if that isn't worrying enough, after 'turning so many corners' , Osborne now says ‘This year will be "the year of hard truths" with more "painful cuts" needed to put the economy on a sustainable footing’." I wonder what Clegg's gonna come up with?

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-25617844

** Sidebar to Miliband's speech: "In his article, he attacks the anti-EU stance of UKIP leader Nigel Farage suggesting that, although border controls were important, the real problem was with unscrupulous firms exploiting cheap labour."

Anyone suspect that a general election might be in the offing, and they're running scared of UKIP?

For all his twisting and turning we know where Cameron's, coming from, and indeed going to, like or lump it. The Tories have always been utterly two faced on the question of immigration. Just as they are so two faced on the whole question of the EU . It's always been obvious that the sort of immigration we have witnessed in recent years was absolutely perfect for keeping wages low. When you have millions on part time arrangements, and 1.5 million out of work. With average wages hardly rising, it,s obvious it has to be handy if you have a continuous flow of desperate foreigners to keep the situation static, in these times of austerity.
So why did the party that's says it stands for British labour, do so much towards the situation, that Ed Miliband, the parties leader now wants to end? No wonder so many voters no longer know which way to turn.

So he would shut the door after the horse has bolted. But could he get any where near getting another horse? Andwould he have a clue what to do with it?

That's very cryptic but I think I know what you mean . . . that the damage has been done, and there's no way Nige nor anyone else can undo it? Well I can't argue with that.

They're all in thrall to the EU because that's where their futures lay, and there's fuck all anyone can do about it.
