Default Can we have a 'History' sub forum?

Hello Sir Forum Admin Will,

When I studied History at College, I used to love debating about issues that happened long ago. Can we have a sub forum for debating politics from the past?

It may sound silly to discuss things that have been already sorted out centuries ago, but I can assure you strong debate will spring up about the conlusions of issues even today historians do not agree on.

Hmm, political history is a little too specialised, but I might consider a general History section if I thought you'd make good use of it. I'll have a think about it, as I'd like a history section but not an empty one.

I'd be in for a lot of historical debate, as long as those involved knew what they were talking about, and it didn't have a sexual theme, if you get my drift, considering who's suggested the theme.

I'm not disagreeing, i would throw my two pence worth in, but no matter what you say, you can never change it. So it seems like an argument for arguing sake to me.
I do mean argue,

I think there are some points in History worth debating over. Come on Forum Admin Will! I promise not to make any sexual references if we debate over historical issues.

Does that mean we're not going to debate the question of whether Catherine the Great really died having sex with a horse?

You can talk about sex all you want, but making crude remarks towards fellow members is different. And Casper you are more then right, there is plenty of history worth debating, theories are always been rewritten in light of new evidence or perspectives.

OK fine, let me think how I'm going to implement it as I'm going to create a new section that it can be a sub forum of. Watch this space, or a space relatively nearby.
