Well, I agree. But if I had been in their situation and I was scared, I maybe would have stopped the car long before we got so close, turned and buggered off. You really have to question the logic of what the driver did.

Logic tends to go out the window somewhat when it's dark, you've got foreigners shouting something you don't understand and firing their guns in the air. Would you remain calm enough to know exactly what to do?

One thing I would not have done is carry on driving. And I'm sorry, but how do you think the soldiers felt with this car bearing down on them. Do you think they might have been thinking "car bomb" in a land of car bombs?
