...well what is it?
We are told we are ruining this great planet of ours, maybe so, but the world will end one day. So what is the point of us "being?" |

To survive and reproduce. If you look at it from a purely Gaian point of view, it's simply to survive.

I just hope the planet survives us. I am not sure life has a meaning or needs to have one. We just are, not everything has a point.
I have not reproduced so that is one ticked off and as I will die that is the survival ticked off.
ergo there is no meaning of life, unless it is 42.

| Technically, there's no meaning to your life. But again if we were to look at it from a Gaian point of view, you have no doubt contributed to society in some way, so therefore you have helped life to survive.
BTW, 42 isn't the meaning of life, it's the answer to it. If you wanted to be pedantic that is.
