School puts CCTV in toliets to beat bullies

This is yet another dangerous precedent, which if catches on, can cause the change of several laws. One being the voyeurism act.
It does appaear that as this "probes" by big brother are accepted more and more, that they will soon push to have them accepted in our homes.

The cameras are directed on the wash basins and the door and do not film inside the cubicles or urinals.

Oh Yeah!...cameras can be remotely tilted and panned as well, if not by mechanical means, then simply by software control.Its like going into tesco,asda and seeing a camera mounted directly over the till. These cameras have zoom and rotation functions and what is there to prevent the security bloke from watching you key in your pin code and then arranging for his mates outside to get your card.

whats to say that these cameras cannot be remotely controlled???
