This is hilarious! Poor old Tony must be thinking, 'Dear God, what now?'. Apparently these five cleaners were hired by a contract company, but still it's immensely ironic that they are cleaning the offices of the very people who are supposed to be booting illegal immigrants out the country.

On a serious note, this just goes to prove what many have been saying. Which is to divide the home office into individual offices, so they can operate more effectively (or should that just be 'operate').

Too bad this didn't happen before the cabinet reshuffle too, I wonder who they can use as a scape-goat. What am I talking about? Why so excited had_enough ?

To keep down costs there are a lot of so called cleaning companies tendering for jobs in the Public Sector......could be a reason behind the scares in our hospitals.The companies recruit part timers due to the nature of the business, early mornings or late nights, short shifts, low pay, high turn over of staff.....and a pool of people unable to work legally.
So the government reduces cleaning bills so it can have money available for hair dressing and grace and favour dwellings for "spare" Ministers.

In today's daily mail......illegal ukranian immigrants found working in sandhurst, apparently employed by a firm hired to build a new officers mess.

Although they work here, most of them dont earn enough to pay taxes and they get perferential treatment and milk the system as much as they can. I know the local do so, but at least its our own and most of the money is spent here and not sent back home.
