Default Tube train kills chavs

http://news.aol.co.uk/tube-train-kil...13054609990004

Two youths have been killed by a London underground train after running from security staff who saw them spraying graffiti.

I can't help but feel as though they deserved what they got because I imagine aggresive knife wielding thugs.

Then again, it's wrong for me to assume that they were.

You must lead one boring life if you have never done anything wrong. If you have done some thing wrong you must also be a chav according to your ever changing definition of a chav.

I say your ever changing definition because it seAms to envelope anybody that does anything wrong.

If my assumptions are correct i am one big mo fo chav...sweet.

As for the story, i wonder if there will be any law suits against the railways because these kids were able to gain access. On building sites it is the responsibility of the main contractor to stop the public from gaining access, and as a roofer it is our responsibility, or our firms, to stop anybody gaining access to the roof.

I suppose because they shouldn't have been in that situation in the first place. Of course it was unfortunate for them, but whether they deserved it is another matter.

I suppose Splinter is right, it is tough shit, shit happens.

hmmm, deserving death for graffiti, i don't think so. If that was in the judicial system and people were getting offed for a petty crime such as that we would have one hell of a body count on our hands due to more serious crimes like shoplifting....i suppose it would cure our crowded prison problem.

I think it is down to personal opinions at the end of the day, which everyone is entitled to, but i think they didn't deserve to die.

Shall we cut peoples hands off for shoplifting, flog them in public for adultery ?
Lets have an Islamist state......
Hard shit ? if no one here has never done something along the lines of graffiti, such as writing their name on the toilet door/tree....scrumping...knock down ginger (if its a regional name I can explain) or any other childish pursuit...then we could all have had the same thing said as we ran....cos it could have been you.
What ever they did.....they didn't deserve to be squashed under the wheels of a Tube train.

It looks like someone is already trying to cover their tracks.

Quote:
Ch Supt Paul Crowther said a security guard had spotted a group spraying graffiti just before the crash.

He said: "It appears that they ran into the path of the train having emerged from a nearby depot. The train driver did try to stop but was unable to do so."
If the guards had spotted them on or around the tracks shouldn't they have warned the station not to send any trains out in that vicinity, that is presuming that the "young men" were killed close to the area they were defacing?

Quote:
He said the men were not being chased by security personnel.
I think the chase was started when the security guards shouted or approached.

Being the nature of the crime and the age of the people involved i would think these people were career graffiti "artists" and the security guards are not brand new to this problem, so would have tried to get close to nick a couple of the culprits.

Quote:
"Our enquiries so far have indicated that the security guards were some comfortable distance away from them and the group of people that ran away."
What is a "comfortable distance", 1 foot or a 100 feet? I don't think any blame could be dropped at the guards feet, i think "only doing their job" would cover them. If anyone is going to be liable for anything it has to be the main contractor for the rail network.

Saying that i don't think any charges will be passed on to the contractors.

Verdict = misadventure

No doubt they were career graffiti "Taggers" I think the term is.
Any rail line is known to be dangerous, so anyone entering such places does so at their own risk....Level crossings are easy to gain access for instance.
This place was protected by fences topped with razor wire....it is a modern day game......leaving your tag for everybody to see....9 times out of 10 they would have ran away unscathed.....not this time.
