Most of our horrible education factories have 1.500 to 2,000 pupils this great school has 330. I think the government likes mass production, give the kids a small school where they have real human contact with teacher, they may start learning independent thought. Frightening for the grey suits.
Just read this ofsted report. It is obscene that this school should be considered for closure

Ours was excellent too, but as an Independent school that was founded in 690, I have no worries of it closing.

likewise independent 380 kids, some arts classes only had 15 to twenty kids.
Think science classes were the same but didn't really take science.
As it wasnt a state school the grey men had very little say in what went on.

That's what I enjoy, that and the freedom to spend. Since I have been in this job I have been able to improve facilities tremendously. Also our kids do longer days as well as Saturday morning, so we get longer holidays.

I've had interviews in state schools and they just do not compare. Interestingly, I never got a state school job. Only Independents would accept me.

we went to school Saturday mornings too, but we had loads of saints days off through the year.
