As far as I know, Islam doesn't condone inbreeding anywhere. The tradition of arranged-marriages comes from the traditions of the countries these immigrants have come from.

Arranged marriages in general are bullshit, but that's no reason to buy some two bit tabloid's angle on it, and turn it into a purely Muslim problem. Yet more evidence of the Racist and Anti-Muslim media.

Pointing the finger at Islam every time this country has a problem, is getting very old very fast. I've just spent three weeks in a largley Muslim country, and the picture the tabloids paint of Islam compared with reality couldn't be more different.

I live in a small Pennine valley town, and it is said that everyone of the locals is related and has six toes.
That the only normal folk are the offcomedens, us soppy southerners and the Pakistanis and Bangladeshis.
I have to say that there are about 5 surnames between most of the local population.
They are all great and I am never moving on from here. The whole conglomeration of Poles, Yorkys, Lancys, and Asians is a great mix. We get an imbalance at times but it usually evens out.

Saw a Hindu Temple, and I met one Christian, but pretty much the whole country is Muslim to my knowledge.
