It seems that the dictation of UK foreign policy by US presidents is set to continue.

We now have both Brown and Campbell desperate to be photographed with Obama, and Brown tailoring his policy in Iraq according to Obama's statements. If Obama loses in his quest for the Whitehouse - which is actually quite likely - no doubt they will indulge in an embarrassing scramble to change horses to McCain.

Have I missed something? When did we become the 51st state of Pig Amerika?

I think there's a very real possiblity that Side-show Dave will be our next PM. If that is the case, I can see Obama using him as a door matt, I don't think McCain will live long enough to make it to the White House.
