Maybe we should have a referendum whereby only those people who vote to have Trident have to pay for it (if they were to win).

This does not suggest that everyone should have the right to opt out of taxes for reasons that they may not like.

its not a matter of want nuclear misiles, but a must have, to keep the scales balanced.
I dont see any other way to " keep the peace" so to speak.

Even if the government decided not to go ahead with it and scrap our missile capability, would they spend the money on us?
