Bruv...you're right, people don't vote for a PM, they vote for MPs, who in turn elect a PM, so all that tosh about not voting for Brown is rubbish.
I doubt Brown has the charisma to pull off another election win, though.

I find him a little dour.....and not little wierd.
I dont think he is PM material......the way he draws breath as he talks with a peculiar shape to his mouth.......mind you better than our Tone probably

Blair should be certified, never mind pressed into resigning. His confidence in the correctness of his blinkered views is nothing less than psychotic. For example, against all the evidence he can never be persuaded to admit that the invasions in the Middle East have exacerbated extremism.

I'm thinking that his extraordinary ego will come into play when looking for a new job. It was said that despite his cross-Europe unpopularity over the invasion of Iraq for as long as the European Constituition was still on the cards he thought he might be Europe's first president, and recently there has even been talk about him wanting to succeed Kofi Annan as General Secretary of the UN. If the Yanks should manage to engineer the latter the implications for the world are terrifying.

Whatever the case, he can always stand to have his ego licked on the lucrative US lecture circuit, like Cherie before him.

I'm Old Labour, Bruv, so far to the left that I used to question Tony Benn's left wing credentials (really!). To me, Blair and his gang are betrayers of the Labour movement who have sold the populace out by prostrating themselves before corporate power.
