The political tide would have turned. It always does eventually. The tipping point would probably have come as the Tories began to dismantle the Health Service in earnest, or simpley because the public were bored with the old order.

As it was, integrity was sacrificed by Nu Labour and the principles and toil of generations of socialists trampled. (Pictures Yoda shaking his head as he observes the victory of the Dark Side.)

I dont know who to respond to ......a Trotskist with no principles.....or a roving troubadour.


I think we all begin our political outlook as Left wing.......retaining the core in our hearts.......until reality bites.
Politics is like a good marriage (Just made this one up ) Compromise compromise compromise compromise with some judicious compromise while unyielding on the basics.....until compromise is needed.
