Claire Hazelgrove is part of Channel 4's Year Dot project which is a groundbreaking initiative, following the lives of 15 young people while they look for support online in their "Year Dot" - a defining year in their life. Claire is the Labour Party’s youngest Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Skipton and Ripon.

Channel 4 has been following Claire this year as she has been working towards her targets, including campaigning for Barack Obama in the USA.

Right now Claire is feeling a bit worried about the prospect of the future. With so few jobs out there, is politics really the way forward?
