There is a programme on tonight called Monkey the Rat and Me, it is about medical testing on animals, get that, medical.

Listened to a bit of a talk/phone in today and it sounds very interesting.

Very serious topic.

Read an article in the sunday paper about using apes to test electrical connections surgically implanted to help in neurological conditions....(lotsa big words there)
The workers are all in fear of letting anyone know they work there, yet the work has helped big time.
These people aren't chopping up live animals for fun....it is crucial serious work.
If it helps one handicapped child it is worth it.

Thing is, while I'm not a huge fan of animals being tested on to benefit humans. If it were my child's life on the line, and this research turned up a cure, would I turn my nose up at it? Would I hell.

So nobody watched a programme about one of the most internationally debated subjects of modern times but you lot chat shit all day............................................... .......I wasn't going to mention this but i think i will, because i'm pissed, that there was a big uproar about a telly programme about taking the piss about the English...correct me if I'm wrong but that is the way i interpreted it.

This programme was well balanced in production, but made the leader of the Anti firm, hang on a minute i said mede, he made himself to look a right fanatic although he couldn't see it himself no matter how much the producer tried to prompt him on it......which brings me back to people who are that fanatical.......... they are dominated by hate.
