| Tribe This is the best program on telly, it's a pity it's just finished.
You might be able to watch them online. If you can and you've got some spare time you should take the time to watch them.
It's some posh English bloke going around and living with remote tribes in Africa.
His adventures, and his reaction to his adventures are great. Well worth wasting time watching.
Here's a link, I hope it works. http://www.bbc.co.uk/tribe/ You should be able to watch the programs from there, if you can't, tough, I enjoyed it. |

Maybe she though of it as some sort of honour that our man Bruce chose to stay with her.
And did you notice the Man U. top on one of them, an absolute disgrace. He probably said he was born in the turnstile gate at Old Trafford, or his dad was, and had to move to Africa 'cause his dad did.
Did you see last week? Those women who wanted to get whipped to show whatever to the tribe.....very strange.
Did the link work anyone? |

| The link works perfectly for me thanks....Im going to bookmark it.
The overpowering impression I got from the programs was how welcoming and friendly they all were.
Tonight for example they caught a small croc....rushed home and cooked it there and then, they were that hungry......yet later the old girl was concerned Bruce was not eating enough because he was busy talking....and actually fed him like a mother would....totally enthralling series.
As a serious after thought.....no wonder the early explorers were able to walk all over these innocent peoples......puts Slavery, South Africa, Zimbabwe and the land issues into context......

I'm sure the vast majority of explorers weren't out to exploit people, but just out for adventure.
That then gets me to thinking how could the white man go to America and systematically destroy a whole nation that had developed over thousands of years in the space of a couple of centuries?
Greed and ignorance?
Our man Bruce has another program on next week. Recreating Scott's Antarctic, or is that Arctic, expedition.
I'm going to miss it though, I'll be sunning myself in the Costa del Sol. I think I might be able to cope though, just about!! |
