every country should have a right to develope nuclear power for domestic use, but as we are living in a world of " bow the knee or else", and considering the threats they have made, I think they have wavered their right to this. On the one hand I sympthise with them, but on the other hand, someone has to hold the reigns, in order to stop a free for all, nuke who you want attitude.
The christian local yokels have condemned the trident missle defence system, but did not seem to recognise that we are living in perilous times and an unstable world, where nuclear deterrant is the only thing that stops a free for all strike. They know that tit for tat, no-one wins.
If the super powers had to disarm their nuclear weapons, there would be no deterrant. |
